"The SUGAR FIX Project was born out of desire to rid myself of a sugar addiction that had played a significant role in my health, weight management, social life and self-respect. After documenting this and creating an extremely powerful and successful program, I would like to be able to help you and others facing the same seemingly insurmountable challenges to live a sugar free lifestyle."

TIP: There is no such thing as "good" or "bad" sugars...

There are a couple of names used for sugar such as fructose, glucose, lactose, sucrose and many more. We are lead to believe that "fruit sugar" is a good sugar.

Not the case. Sugar in fruit is known as fructose and is the same as the sugar found in soda! To be clear - fruit is fine, in its whole form, the fibre in fruit plays a very important role in how the body digests and metabolizes the fructose.

Fruit juice on the other hand (which contains the same fructose sugar as the whole fruit) has had all the fibre processed out of it. To fill a 250ml glass you will need the juice of 3 apples at at a staggering 5.5 teaspoons of sugar, we are almost in soda territory there! The tip - eat whole fruit and say goodbye to fruit juice!
